AT LAST! I went to Robin Hill

AT LAST! I went to Robin Hill

Several members of the Media Team went to Robin Hill to look at possible sites for our ScoutFest display at the Eklectica music festival

Park Manager James took us down to a little field which he thought would be a good site for us.

While the others chatted about what would go where, I went off exploring.

Across the field from our pitch was a big lake. It had a footpath right through the middle of it! (Yeah..OK! there were brick walls to keep the water back, but still...)

I got up close with the ducklings,

in particular this one, which I called A. Why? Well he is "A Duck"!

I found this brilliant fire basket near a Chinese garden.

Then there was a pint-sized bulldozer.

Unfortunately the squirrel tower was closed, otherwise I could have spent all day climbing through the trees.

I found this toadstool. How did I know it's a toadstool? There's not mush - room on top of it!

I liked my visit to Robin Hill, especially meeting the ducklings. Thanks Park Manager James!
