Beaveree 2018

Skip, Jade and I went along to the 2018 Beaveree. It's a Beaver Scout camp and fun weekend at Corf Campsite.

This year the theme was Cowboys and Indians.

A new leader was invested.

But not everyone was paying attention.

There were all sorts of cowboy games including sliding a drink (of water) along the 'bar' and catching it in a bucket. The winner collected the most water in a certain time.

We set out a course of my Treasure hunt game (see my Media page) and we had winners from Brading.

Some of the mums stayed to see the fun, but I think they were a little tyred.....

The groups had made some brilliant efforts at making their campsites fit the Cowboys & Indians theme, with saloons..

... Totem Poles...

.. a corral for the horses...

... and even a trusty steed for this mascot!

The tide was out so nobody could use the canoes or kayaks.

Not that we were worried. We're too small to use the canoes and kayaks and we had a new fan!
