Hello Isle of Wight

Hi I'm Sid and I've just moved to the Isle of Wight, and it's my first day here so I'm having a look around. I've come from the mainland where I joined Scouts as a Beaver and now I'm a Cub.

From East Cowes there's a brilliant view of the big cruise liners going past on their way to......... anywhere?

It should be easy to get from East Cowes to Cowes, but the chain ferry wasn't even there, let alone crossing the river!

When I finally got to Cowes there was an amazing visitor in the harbour. And a Red Funnel ferry coming in behind it.

I wanted to go to Robin Hill but I was too late and it had closed. Still, there'll be plenty more days I can come and visit!

The same for Carisbrooke Castle. One day......
