GIJoe and I went to the USA
GIJoe went home to see his family in Las Vegas and took me with him.
I asked if we could go to the Cheesecake Factory 'cos it's featured in my favourite US Comedy TV show, The Big Bang Theory.
The choice of cheesecakes and other cakes was amazing.
We thought we'd share a salad first, to leave plenty of room for cheesecake.
This was my choice - all chocolatey and gooey!
It was GIJoe's birthday and the waitress decorated the Joe's plate with his cheescake.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, we saw all the casinos.
My favourite was the Bellagio with the amazing fountains
GI Joe liked the M&Ms store best
Wow! The hotel we stayed in made special non-alcoholic Margaritas. The perfect size for Joe and me to have an ice cold swim. Perfect for the very hot day.
We went for a drive across the desert on this 6-lane highway, to the Colorado river.....
…….where we saw the Hoover Dam.
I did some quick maths and told Joe that the dam is 5,525 times as big as I am!
We stopped off in New York on the way home. I always wanted to see the chess boards in the middle of Central Park.
On the Western side of the park we found a very special building, but that's another story, for St Georges Day!
We went to the top of the Rockafella building (6,475 times as tall as me). The view was fantastic!
Underneath is a huge LEGO® store.
In the window was a HUGE model of a skyscraper in a city.
A lady in the shop told us where to find the best LEGO® model in New York....
....... on board the Aircraft Carrier USS Intrepid.
It's a model of the Intrepid.
And it's made of 250,000 pieces. GIJoe pointed out that that's 62,500 times more pieces than me!
And we saw spacecraft, planes and a space shuttle. It was amazing end to our holiday!
