Sid's New Friends

MaC had an email from Minifigs ......... they have a couple of new mini models which we might like to have join our crew.

FIrst of all Minifigs have got two new members of their famous figures in history range.
Meet Mini-Robert Baden Powell and Mini-Agnes Baden Powell, but we call them Bob and Aggie.

Robert Baden Powell was the founder of Scouts. His younger sister Agnes Baden Powell was the founder of the Girl Guide movement. We'll get County Archivist Barry Groves to tell us some of their stories.

 

Becca asked them straight away if they would help Barry with a story for the Heritage Blog, about BP's only visit to the Isle of Wight.

 Mini-figs also have some new bodies, which basically make up our two new friends, Wayne and Clare.

 

 Becca went into a huddle with them. She's got a secret new project that she wants them to help with. We'll find out more soon!

 We've also been joined by 2 more friends from the USA. Here are all 5 of the American Scouts together.

In the middle of the front row is GI Joe. Either side of him, with the marshmallows, are Timmy and Jimmy - or is it Jimmy and Timmy - I can't tell! On the left, with Black hair, is our new friend Hank. On the right is our other new friend, historical bookworm Edgar.

I invited all the crew to my garden so we could get to know our new friends. Here's the whole crew together.

Of course Jade, Becca, Mini-MaC, GI Joe and I will still be having fun together, but now we've got even more friends to join in our adventures.
