Reef Knot

Jade and I are going to tie a reef knot. We started with our two ropes and got hold of the working ends

OK, said Skip, Sid, you're " left", Jade, you're "right".

Now we go "left" over "right" then under......

....then "right" over "left" then under.

And pull it tight.

Really pull tight!

Yay", that was easy!

Skip told us about reef knots. They should only be tied with 2 similar ropes, they can slip if they're tied using certain types of rope, and can usually be untied.
